Cerberus SRL was founded in 2008, mainly dedicated to the planning and realization of plants from renewable sources in particular Photovoltaic realizing about 300 plants of 3 kWp to 200 kWp, thanks to the utmost professionality of our technicians we are still in business with the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of installations.
Since 2010 we started another business unit that deals with the design and construction, taking care of the supervision of the entire production process from the research of the most innovative components from assembly to final testing, the battery-powered vehicles, in particular electric scooters known by own brand CRB and electric bicycles with pedal assistance with owner GREENSPARK brand.
In 2014 we have established ourselves in the best Italian fairs with three innovative electric scooters to which we gave the name Zeus, Sicily and Eagle1 brand CRB with special 3: 1) Brushless motor with permanent magnets 5000W power, 2) Programmable control unit for better use the power of the vehicle; 3) Battery Removable lithium-ion with much more powerful and lasting NCM technology into charging cycles.

Innovative Solution/Technology

Our project takes the name of battery exchange, in practice we have patented a accumulators Storage System that is placed inside electric vehicles in order to facilitate the placing and the extraction of the batteries to recharge so they can be even in a place different from where the vehicle is located. We subsequently patented a system that allows to realize the lithium batteries without having to weld the cells that compose it thanks to a device that allows you to combine the two opposite poles of the cells in a stable manner making everything modular and in that sense it is thus possible to make whatever you want on the size and battery power.
In addition thanks to the insertion of a GPRS and a Smart BMS, we have designed and manufactured with proprietary software, within the battery we can have a lot of information: the battery positioning, percentage of charge, charge cycles, correct operation, tampering, and more.
So thanks to the software we developed for the rental of electric bikes and electric scooters, we can also rent the batteries and favors the purchase of the vehicle (bike, scooter or car) without batteries which comprise the largest component of the final price.

Case Study

Project “Wattora 2e20”
The Wattora project concerns the production of batteries with technological innovation, and in particular the creation of a standard modular battery for powering electric vehicles that may be, in a modular way, inserted into special storage systems prepared in electric vehicles. The new battery will contain a Smart BMS (Smart Battery Management System) for the control of individual cells as well as the charging and discharging operations; a GPS geolocation system and GPRS managed by a software for tracking and locating the battery.The storage systems accumulators, which enjoy a proprietary patent no. 0000282575, will be designed and manufactured specifically to be able to easily accommodate the batteries standand so as to combine them in series and / or in parallel in order to suitably feed the electric vehicle on which it will be installed (bikes, scooters, cars, boat, etc ..).
The Standard battery thus made will be entered into a system called Electric Mobility Network consists of points (petrol stations, shops, services, rental centers, etc ..) denominated 2e20, who will perform the following activities: recharge the batteries, be the first assistance in the event of a fault, withdraw the batteries discharged by recording them in a special WEB portal, deliver the batteries charged by checking the appropriate installation. The "2e20 Electric Mobility Network" will be made, therefore, from companies to constitute or already on the ground that, in amounts corresponding to need to utilities will be equally spaced to facilitate the user in the exchange of Standard Batteries "Battery Swap" from discharges charges. I 2e20 partner points so will guarantee the rental of standard batteries and the standard battery exchange service and thanks to the management software devoted able to: profile the customer, identified batteries thanks to the unique serial, coordinate discharges and battery loads, track and locate using GPS GPRS, verify proper operation thanks to the SMART BMS.The user can go to a point 2e20 identified through the special mobile application to replace the old batteries with those charged also via the App. You can check availability, book and pay for the service. In the case of very long journeys, it will be possible to replace the batteries with a simple pit-stop along the way. The task of the software, thanks to the SMART BMS, will also be to monitor the battery life cycle, so as to be able to signal the eventual exchange 2e20 at a point in time to the end user. At the base of the nascent society there is the realization of services dedicated to sustainable urban mobility and marketing of electric vehicles.

Our project just started foresees:
  • production of the storage system, the production of components for assembly of batteries;
  • battery production in all sizes and wattages;
  • production of batteries for retrofit;
  • production of standard batteries to be devoted to the rental;
  • Production of an automatic refilling system powered by a photovoltaic system for the production of energy from the sun
  • hardware and rental management software to exchange the batteries;
  • smartphone application to check availability and book and pay for battery rental.
In order to expand our business throughout Italy, in Europe and in the world we definitely need partners who support us and make us grow:
  • Companies that Produce of rechargeable cells that make up the batteries;
  • Investors who want to reach a break even point in a very short time, even joint ventures;
  • Companies that want to become our points franchised rental;
  • Companies that want to license our patents to expand in countries where we are not present.
